Dome Mountain Ranch Lodging and Accomodations

Here at Dome Mountain, you will find no fancy garnishes and green things you can't eat covering your plate.Instead, we will fill your plate with wholesome, hearty and real homemade meals, which will warm your insides and give you the energy you need for day after day of Montana fly fishing. This is just one of the "little things" done at Dome Mountain Ranch to make your Montana fly fishing vacation special.

The main lodge at Dome Mountain Ranch houses our restaurant the "Big Hatch Cafe" where you will enjoy home cooked breakfasts, and delicious western style dinners. They're also responsible for tasty packed lunches for your days exploring Yellowstone country.

The Dome Mountain Ranch main lodge is also home to the "The Last Best Fly Shop" where guests can find just about everything they need to hit the water and enjoy your Montana fly fishing vacation as well as great Dome Mountain Ranch souvenir gear. This historic Montana Fly Fishing Lodge is a wonder to behold in itself with hand made rock fireplaces, library, photos, mounts and a large covered deck where you can put your feet up, and meet other guests of the ranch and tell or brag about the one that got away.

Montana Fly Fishing Cabins

At Dome Mountain Ranch, eight cozy cabins are just a short walk from the main lodge and Yellowstone river. Each fly fishing cabin will sleep two to four guests comfortably with a bath dividing the cabin into two semi-private rooms. Some of the cabins also allow room for small families.

Each Dome Mountain Ranch fly fishing cabin has its own small refrigerator and coffee maker. Ideally, these cabins were designed with the active outdoors person in mind and sincerely offer a great retreat following a day on the beautiful Montana Yellowstone with our fly fishing guides. In the summer time, our own in-ground heated pool is a welcome spot to hang out during lazy summer days and often is the centerpiece to some of our "outdoor entertainment".

Montana Style Comfort Awaits

"We had the vacation of a lifetime. The fishing on the Yellowstone River was just spectacular! The fishing in the park was excellent also! We enjoyed the hike to passage falls. The highlight of the trip was the elk.We saw wolf, lots of deer, elk and eagles. Thanks for the wonderful western hospitality. The cabin was spectacular and the breakfasts were something we will always remember. We hope to return next year." --Duane and Joyce Graham, Indiana, PA
